NEW 52000089 JEEP MOPAR Manual Steering Gear Assembly

52000089 has a casting number of 5679142.

Used in Jeep’s from 1984-1998 (Wrangler, Cherokee, CJ, YJ, TJ, and Comanche).  This will NOT work for right hand drive applications.

Has 24:1 ratio for approx. 6 turns lock to lock. Input shaft measures .732 and has 30 splines.  Cast Iron Housing, with aluminum sidecover.

Gear rotation is clockwise-clockwise.

This is a genuine Mopar steering gear. New Old Stock (NOS).  Made by BSB Auto Tech in Canada for Chrysler.  This is a Saginaw 525 series.  In original box. These are unpainted.
