204-1004-007 6″ Steering Column
For use with all common Char Lynn, Sauer-Danfoss, and other aftermarket brand steering valves. If you have a 204-1004 column with a different design code (the last 3 digits on the end of the part number) this will replace it as an assembly as long as the first seven numbers are the same.
- Input shaft end is a nominal 7/8″ diameter (shaft splines .858″)
- Length from mounting tabs on base to top of outer tube jacket 5.82″
- 36 splines on top with 13/16-20 threads
- Overall height 8.125″ from mounting face to top of threads
- Std. 12 involute splines on steering unit end with 3.25″ bolt circle for attachment
This will accomodate standard steering wheels with 7/8″ X 36 splining. The base will match the mounting and splining configuration of all popular Char Lynn, Danfoss, and other aftermarket brands of steering units. For steering wheel retention we stock a matching nut.
